Systems Maintenance
Intruder alarm security maintenance
Intruder alarm systems should be regularly serviced to check all detection devices perform as required, warning devices operate correctly, communications devices signal and are received correctly by the Alarm Receiving Centre, and that batteries and power supplies are measured for operation and efficiency. We offer maintenance packages & Warranty, Unlike other Alarm installers, Vale Fire & Security doesn’t agree charging again for benefits which are covered under the system warranty or within the maintenance contract, that’s why our maintenance package will covers the service visits and any further callouts at a reduced rate.
CCTV System Maintenance
Often, CCTV systems are disregarded after installation until information/evidence is required from them. If this is the point when we realise a camera isn’t working, the NVR/DVR isn’t recording, or the quality is poor, it is too late to gain the information needed and an opportunity is lost. Our CCTV maintenance contracts start at £80 + VAT per annum and benefit from scheduled visit/s, telephone support, 4-hour response rates, on-site breakdown support, and information retrieval support with a reduced hourly rates.
Fire Alarm System Maintenance
It is imperative that fire alarm systems are frequently serviced to ensure correct operation. Annual contracts start from £65+ VAT. Weekly Test A different manual call point should be triggered each week to ensure correct operation. These tests must be documented each time in the fire log book. Weekly tests can be carried out by the trained end user. Vale Fire & Security would be pleased to train any member of staff how to carry out weekly testing and documentation. To avoid additional cost we can conduct this during a routine maintenance visit, We can also provide cloud based recording to ensure the total compliance Routine Inspection and Testing This is dependent on the size of the fire alarm system and your fire risk assessment. As a minimum, and to keep the system compliant with BS5839 (45.3), the system should be inspected by a competent person (our engineers) every six months. For large systems, quarterly routine inspection will be necessary.
Access Control System Maintenance
One routine maintenance visit a year will normally be enough for most access control systems. Should you rely on an access control system to maintain security to areas of your building, you will benefit from taking out an annual maintenance with us:
